The Role
Perseus is growing the business development team within our M&A group. The purpose of this role is to build strong strategic business relationships that lead to the sourcing of current and future M&A opportunities for Perseus. Relationships will be formed with decision makers (i.e., CEOs/VPs of Corporate Development/founders/owners) of software companies globally, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals. Success is defined by building and maintaining meaningful relationships, having clients sign LOI’s and ultimately, the acquisition of software companies/assets by Perseus/Constellation. Initiating and maintaining relationships and ultimately being considered and chosen for acquisition by Perseus/Constellation, typically takes multiple years. Measurable outcomes, continuous value‑add through many M&A conversations/relationships, and high‑quality market research are what ultimately generate successful acquisitions through time.
