Job Description
Manage and grow the company's sales relationships within the logistics industry by providing proactive customer service, generating new business, and maintaining existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales revenue and support the goals and objectives of the Sales and Marketing Department.
- Identify and pursue profitable cargo opportunities to and from a range of destinations or origins served by principals or agents.
- Prepare weekly sales visit reports and sales call plans.
- Maintain contact with existing customers through regular personal visits.
- Acquire new accounts to expand the client base.
- Prepare quotations and sales orders as needed.
- Coordinate with affiliate offices and agents for any special service required by customers.
- Respond to customers' inquiries and resolve problems.
