Linux Systems Administrator

Opportunity

We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our IT team at Allegro MicroSystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and High-Performance Compute (HPC) job scheduler, as well as collaborating with the EDA team.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain EDA tools, our HPC job scheduler and license servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EDA tool installation, license servers, and HPC job scheduler.
• Ensure timely resolution of high‑severity incidents, including communications, reporting, and tracking of follow‑ups.
• Monitor system performance and identify and resolve performance issues.
• Create and maintain documentation on system configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with the EDA team to ensure seamless integration of EDA tools and Linux infrastructure.
