Legal Counsel, Commercial Services (TMX Group)
We are looking for a commercial legal professional to support the Global Technology Services team and the broader commercial group. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide array of commercial contracts and technology agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently structure, draft, and negotiate complex technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS, PaaS, cloud infrastructure, professional and consulting services, data licensing, software development agreements, Service Level Agreements, and hardware procurement.
- Provide legal counsel on emerging technologies such as AI/Generative AI, high‑criticality technology acquisitions, complex outsourcing transactions, source code escrow, and open‑source software licensing.
