About the Role
Teck is seeking a Lead Structural Geologist based in its Vancouver office. This role focuses on 3D modeling and data integration to resolve complex geoscience challenges.
As a structural geology leader, you will contribute to resource estimation and optimization while ensuring safety and sustainability practices. The position requires a combination of field expertise and technical analysis, with opportunities for mentorship and travel. You will collaborate across technical disciplines to enhance operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety and environmental practices at Teck
• Perform structural mapping and 3D data analyses
• Implement geoscience solutions for project challenges
• Establish structural geology standards and align workflows
• Conduct site visits to support project stakeholders
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD with a focus on structural geology
• 10 years of relevant industry experience
• P.Geo. registration in British Columbia
