Lead Mechanical Engineer

Business Group: Lighting

• Reports to Application Leader in term of tasks based on assignment into particular project
• Leads all PD tasks related to successful Job1 and profitable product in terms of mechanical engineering.
• Develop concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan customer and legal requirements
• Responsible for mechanical BOM release & updates
• Applies and ensures application of the best design and process practices (DGL, Rules), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and customer specific requirements.
• Provides suggestions for creating and updating DFMEA.
• Ensure application of proper data management system and information exchange within the project team
• Cooperates at creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component test and certification in compliance with the CDP/VPDS/VBOS ...
