About the Role
Key Responsibilities for the Lead Frontend Software Engineer:
- Work on a key program of work starting in 2026 to build a brand new electronic trading platform.
- Develop and maintain front-end applications used by front-office users.
- Design and develop UIs for the their core platform and new platform.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business and report directly to the CTO.
- Mentor Frontend Engineers working as part of the team.
- Suggest and implement new ideas into the code base.
Requirements for the Lead Frontend Software Engineer
- A degree in a STEM-related subject.
- At least 8 years of commercial frontend development experience within an electronic trading environment.
- This experience could be within; an Investment Bank, Brokerage, Hedge Fund, Asset Manager, Electronic Exchange.
- Experience with Redux.js, GIT, Node, HTML, and CSS.
