Lead Cobol Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced COBOL Developer to join our dynamic team at HCL Technologies Malaysia SDN BHD. As a COBOL Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of mission-critical business applications. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications and systems to support the business
• Analysing and troubleshooting complex COBOL code to identify and resolve issues
• Support business operations on their areas by improving or performing system configurations or by developing new features of Java applications
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications by monitoring, analyzing and reporting root cause of system/production disruption and including recommendations to prevent the reoccurrence of glitches, defects & bugs
