**Job Description**

The Technician maintains and operates landfill gas collection systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. This role involves hands-on mechanical work in an outdoor landfill environment, regular monitoring of wells and pumps, and accurate documentation of field data using a company-provided laptop. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has mechanical aptitude, and is comfortable working in a dynamic field setting.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain the landfill gas collection system to meet performance standards through timely and cost-effective operations and maintenance activities.
+ Perform monthly monitoring of the wellfield, including measuring liquid levels in gas extraction wells and monitoring perimeter probes for surface emissions.
