About the Role
Working within the Oil & Lubricants laboratory, you will be responsible for the analytical testing of oil, fuel, and coolant samples used in the condition monitoring of heavy mining equipment and machinery. You will play a key role in ensuring testing is completed accurately, safely, and within agreed turnaround times. Comprehensive training will be provided on all relevant instrumentation, systems, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical testing of oil, fuel, and coolant samples.
- Apply a range of analytical tests using specialised laboratory instruments.
- Accurately record sample and testing data into the LIMS system.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with ALS Quality Work Instructions and QA/QC requirements.
- Maintain awareness and compliance with laboratory safety policies.
- Support the team to deliver quality results on time.
