Laboratory Manager

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and testing schedules
• Supervise concrete, steel, and composite materials testing
• Ensure accurate data recording, analysis, and reporting
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, and inventory control
• Enforce safety procedures and compliance with SANS/ASTM/ISO standards
• Support engineers with prototype and structural testing activities

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in construction materials or engineering laboratory testing
• Knowledge of SANS, ASTM, or ISO testing standards
• Experience with hydraulic or materials testing equipment
• Strong organisational and reporting skills

Qualifications

• National Diploma / BTech / BSc in Civil Engineering, Materials Science
