Responsible for washing kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and cutlery using dishwashers and sinks.
Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean according to schedule and company health and safety requirements.
Assist the chef brigade with general food preparation and basic food service when required. Responsible for the general cleaning of all kitchen areas to required standards as laid out in the cleaning schedule.
Ensure all utensils are returned to their respective places after washing.
Kitchen areas are swept at regular intervals.
All bins are emptied at regular intervals throughout the day, and all rubbish is taken to refuse containers located by the back stairs. This must be done again as a last job in the evening.
Operate dishwash machines safely as instructed, ensuring water is changed regularly.
