Kitchen Assistant – Job Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Wash, dry, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, cutting boards, and cooking appliances.
- Assist with basic food preparation and meal production.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors and clean kitchen walls to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Receive, unload, and organize delivered food supplies.
- Store food items correctly following stock rotation and food safety procedures.
- Transfer ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as required.
- Prepare hot beverages.
- Assist with meal plating and presentation.
- Blend and prepare food according to recipes and dietary requirements.
