Assists the teacher in planning and maintaining a safe, clean, learning environment and in assuring the wellbeing and safety of the children in her care. Maintains a positive, calm attitude and a soft voice in the classroom. To supervise the children where appropriate and to protect them from dangerous or harmful situations, as directed by the Room Leader. To assist in the preparation of snacks, set up and clear away meal times and supervision of children during meal times.
