Job purpose:

As a Junior Redis Database Administrator, you will be a part of a growing international team based in Kuala Lumpur Center mainly supporting Azure Cache for Redis PaaS subscriptions on Azure cloud. We are seeking candidates with wide range of expertise and skills in Redis PaaS cloud database support such as day‑to‑day administration, performance tuning, monitoring, Backup/restore and NoSQL programming know‑how.

Key activities:

• Database Administration support with main focus on Azure Cache for Redis databases on Azure cloud.
• Database Maintenance, housekeeping, troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve database performance issues and implementing necessary database changes.
• Incident, problem and change management of database‑related incidents and problems, both in collaboration with other technical teams.
