Java Developer - Cognizant
Location: Monterrey, Guadalajara, Querétaro, and Mexico City
Responsibilities
Design and develop Java Spring Boot microservices to support core banking business logic for deposit, loans, and payment features.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between front‐end and back‐end banking systems.
Perform unit test case reviews and code reviews; ensure quality delivery within Scrum teams.
Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to translate banking requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements and Required Skills
Banking, Cards & Payments domain.
Core Java, Spring Boot & Spring Framework, Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
JUnit / Mockito / Testing frameworks.
SQL / Relational databases.
Maven / Jenkins / CI/CD.
Languages: Spanish (Advanced), English (Intermediate).
