- Experience with the specific POS system being used, including transaction processing and sales reporting
- Maintaining and supporting all POS-related IT equipment, including servers, desktops, cash registers, laptops, databases, and printers
- Troubleshooting POS software
- Analyzing user requirements as well as software performance
- Installing updates
- Supporting and solving system issues or failures
- Working with IT and technical teams to develop and modify systems to meet current and future needs
- Hardware and software testing and diagnostics
