Duties/Responsibilities
• Serves as Project Manager over complex software, hardware, network, and technically difficult projects; validates deliverables associated with the approved business case and project charter; identifies and mitigates project risk; and performs quality assurance duties.
• Secures internal and external resources for the project; coordinates the Request for Proposals (RFP) process, including vendor selection; negotiates contracts with vendors, as assigned; and develops project schedules and manages to achieve deadlines.
• Develops a detailed project schedule to monitor progress and completion of tasks assigned to various project staff, both internal and external to the City. Prepares, reviews, and maintains reports, plans, presentations, and other documentation; researches, analyzes, reviews and approves information; develops and implements recommendations; and ensures compliance with project contracts and applicable regulations, polici...
