Inventory Controller

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (6 months, with possible extension)

Location: Remote Mine Site Southern Africa

Roster: 6 weeks on site / 3 weeks off rotation

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Inventory Controller to lead the setup and optimization of inventory management systems and practices at a remote mining operation in Southern Africa. This is a hands‑on role requiring deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to coach and uplift local teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inventory System Setup: Design and implement robust inventory control systems tailored to mining operations.
• Material Master Improvement: Standardize and enhance item coding, integrate OEM part numbers, establish and maintain min/max stock levels, identify and eliminate redundant or obsolete stock, support disposal or repurposing strategies.
