Interventional Technologist

Provides advanced procedural and radiologic support to physicians; maintains a well-stocked and clean work environment; assists in pre and post procedural patient care; rotates on-call responsibilities.

• Provides patient care appropriate to the patient population in a sterile environment under the guidance of the physician. Assists in pre and post procedural care; cross-trained to scrub on all procedures; communicates with appropriate personnel for follow-up of procedure patients and identifies any specific learning needs; assists in other areas of the radiology department as needed.


• Systematically and continuously collects, assesses, and documents data in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to provide procedural care for the patient.
