Position Overview

Type of position: Trainee

Join BBA as a trainee in the Process Control and Operational Technology (PC&OT) group at our Québec City office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of mandates in the mining, metals and renewable energy sectors, collaborating on automation, instrumentation, advanced control, industrial computing, and telecommunications projects.

Responsibilities

• Help produce deliverables for an engineering project cycle
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human‑machine interfaces (HMIs)
• Perform SCADA integration and programming work
• Help configure historians and appraise data
• Analyze client data to identify root causes of problems and generate improvement ideas
• Help analyze needs, select technology and propose solutions to clients
• Participate in commissioning and testing at client sites
