Position Summary
Join WSP’s Transmission & Distribution Electrical team as an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer and contribute to innovative substation projects that strengthen grid reliability and support renewable energy integration across Canada. Key Responsibilities
Lead technical aspects of transmission line design projects (34.5kV–500kV), including new lines, relocations, rebuilds, upgrades, structure replacements, and fiber optic additions. Prepare and review design deliverables such as plan and profile drawings, material selection, and construction specifications. Conduct quality reviews of internal and subcontractor deliverables. Manage and prioritize multiple projects within budget and time constraints. Evaluate technical options, criteria, and routes for design merit.
