Intermediate Structural Engineer

MPE, a division of Englobe, is currently seeking an Intermediate/Senior Structural Engineer to support our team in Calgary / Lethbridge, AB. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and management of projects within MPE’s Structural team, requiring an independent work ethic, the ability to effectively communicate directly with clients and site personnel, and a focus on effective time management.

Your main responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with engineering technologists utilizing Revit and CAD to develop and produce structural drawings/contract documents, including specifications.
• Participate in client meetings in an active and collaborative manner, both to resolve any outstanding design considerations or issues and to liaise with the design team to ensure incorporation.
• Strong understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
