Position Overview

Intermediate Representative – Bodily Injury/CasualtyWork Location: Waterloo, ONT, Canada

Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate, and settle Intermediate Third‑Party Bodily Injury claims.
• Manage a portfolio of Automobile Bodily Injury, Accident Benefit, or Automobile PD Claims of increasing complexity.
• Engage all stakeholders, including underwriting and senior leadership, to confirm policy coverages and determine liability and quantum.
• Maintain detailed file records and manage documentation throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Attend and participate in mediations, pre‑trials, and settlement initiatives.
• Settle claims directly with plaintiffs’ counsel and direct/instruct defence counsel as needed.
• Provide professional, friendly, and courteous interactions with customers, co‑workers, and vendors.
