Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is an Interdisciplinary, developmental GS-11/12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Construction Division. Responsibilities Make thorough study of contracts, plans, and specifications. Recommend changes which would facilitate or improve the facilities, together with justification for the recommendations, and initiates contract modification as required. Review and analyze proposals submitted by contractors for field changes to contract plans and specifications and prepares draft of findings of fact on which modifications may be based.
