About the Role
Become a Structural Geology instructor at Yukon University for Fall 2026. Focus on both theoretical lectures and practical laboratory sessions that explore geology in Whitehorse.
The Earth Sciences program is in search of qualified candidates to instruct the GEOL 208 Structural Geology course. The selected instructors will be responsible for delivering lectures and managing hands-on laboratory activities that include field assessments in the Whitehorse region. Strong candidates will bring a mix of academic and practical experience in structural geology to improve student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging 3-hour weekly lectures
• Manage 3 hours of lab instruction each week
• Conduct field exercises in the Whitehorse area
• Provide access to relevant learning materials
• Follow university teaching regulations and guidelines
