Infrastructure Solutions Architect

Job Description

Leading Financial Service Client in Cape Town requires an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to provide Infrastructure related services to the IT Business and Community.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric
2. IT Diploma or Degree
3. Certified Hardware, VMWare Engineer
4. Preference to Certifications: Microsoft Certified Engineer, Linux, Storage, TOGAF & ITIL
5. 10 Years experience in a similar role
6. Good experience in Architecture principles and frameworks, VMware, Linux, Storage
7. Good understanding of Private and hybrid cloud concepts

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and maintaining Infrastructure Solutions
2. Providing technical consultancy to IT Architects
3. Presenting and obtaining solutions design
4. Designing and presenting infrastructure changes and reducing impact on business
