Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a HVAC Chemical Engineer to support commercial HVAC product lines by designing, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems used in HVAC equipment. Day‑to‑day work includes creating unit‑specific wiring diagrams, performing electrical calculations like FLA and MOP, and providing technical support to sales, customers, production, and engineering teams. The engineer will troubleshoot electrical issues, assist with testing and validation during production and development, and support prototype builds by wiring and testing panels and components. Additional responsibilities include managing engineering change requests, maintaining ERP and production documentation, writing work instructions, and collaborating cross‑functionally with manufacturing, process engineering, customer service, and leadership. Staying current on industry codes and standards is also a key part of the role.
