Overview
Housing Technician – Capital & Technical Maintenance who will be responsible for conducting building inspections, creating scopes of work, and managing and reviewing the work for compliance. The work primarily involves project management of capital repair and renewal projects such as building envelope rehabilitations, deep energy retrofits, replacement/major repairs of electrical and mechanical (plumbing, boilers, heat pumps, etc) building systems (including fuel switching), elevator replacement/modernization, fire panel upgrades, etc. Projects range in size, time and cost ($10K - $10M).
This role requires critical thinking and evaluation of the scope and agile management of the complete project cycle (initiation through to close out). You are a team player who can work independently and has excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
