HIAB Operator

Our client in the Electrical Industry is seeking to employ a HIAB Operator to join their team.
Please note that this is a (fixed-term contract).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pre-start safety checks: Inspect crane, hydraulics, ropes, outriggers and complete the daily logbook.


• Safe site set-up: Assess ground, clear overhead power lines, deploy outriggers with pads and barricade slew zone


• Load handling: Lift and place materials safely without risk to people or property.


• Legal compliance: Operate within the OHS Act and Driven Machinery Regs.


• Communication: Work with Banksman / Riggers using hand signals or radio.


• Documentation: Update crane logbook, report incidents and near misses.
