Job Overview

HGV Class 1 Driver – Derby (DE72). Pay: PAYE Monday to Saturday £175 per day plus holiday pay; Sunday £190 per day plus holiday pay. Start time: 12:00. Shift pattern: Sunday to Saturday 4 on 4 off (average 10‑hour shifts).

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client delivering to a well‑known retail store.

Main Duties

• Delivering frozen, chilled, and ambient goods to stores
• Loading and unloading your vehicle
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Reporting any damage, defects, or wear‑and‑tear to the Transport Team

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Good communication skills, positive attitude, and smart presentation
• Full training until you are confident to work independently
• Comfortable loading / unloading using electric MHE (training provided)
