About the Role
Join EORLA as a Hematopathologist and enhance your academic career while providing specialized Hematopathology and Transfusion Medicine services at the University of Ottawa.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a leading health sciences center, providing essential hematopathology services including routine hematology, coagulation testing, and flow cytometry. The successful candidate will also engage in training future professionals and contribute to innovative research, especially within the context of a robust leukemia program supporting numerous bone marrow transplants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert Hematopathology and Transfusion Medicine services
• Conduct important molecular diagnostics and coagulation tests
• Participate in on-call coverage for urgent cases
• Deliver teaching and mentorship to students
• Engage in cutting-edge research on thrombosis and precision medicine
Requirements:
• Candidates must be CPSO eligible in Ontario
