Heifer Raising Assistant Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise the process of receiving calves and analyze their conditions to determine which calves are suitable for raising, culling, or euthanasia.
2. Plan, coordinate, and supervise the maintenance and care of calves and their facilities to ensure optimal calf growth.
3. Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of preventive programs and health control measures to maintain calf health.
4. Conduct periodic evaluations of the calf-rearing system.
5. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the management of dry pregnant cows, transition cows, heifer transitions, and calving activities.
6. Coordinate, supervise, and take responsibility for the calving process, as well as post-calving care for both cows and calves.
7. Develop and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with established systems and procedures.
