About the Role
The role is part of the Immunisation Outreach contract which has been created to meet a key Government health target of 95% of tamariki fully immunised at 24 months.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Kaiāwhina/Health Educator to drive this Immunisation Outreach in our local community. Working with a Registered Nurse, this role will raise awareness levels of immunisation with the goal of creating multi-generational commitment to immunisations within whānau. You will provide education and health literacy to whānau to protect against Childhood diseases in their tamariki and in the wider community. Alongside empowering them to build healthier and safer lifestyles for their household.
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm for a fixed term to 30th June 2027.
