About the Role
Taps Australia is currently seeking a full-time Head Chef to lead their kitchen team and would welcome anyone with appropriate skills and experience who is willing to commit to a long-term appointment.
To be successful, you will need to possess a relevant qualification and at least 2 years’ experience working in small commercial kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to put their own stamp on things and has the ability to do so!
Specific duties will include:
- Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
