Google Platform Engineer

Overview

We're partnering with a leading financial services client in NYC to hire a hands-on Google Platform Engineer. This role focuses on building, automating, and scaling a GCP environment that supports critical trading and transaction processing systems. Ideal candidates will bring strong cloud engineering experience along with an understanding of financial systems and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)


• Support platforms tied to trading systems and transaction processing workflows


• Manage and optimize core GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery


• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
