About the Role
Position Overview
Under the close supervision and guidance of the Clinical Geneticist and Program Director and concurrent with self-teaching and on-the-job training, the incumbent is responsible for assisting with the coordination of the genetics program including screening and accepting patient referrals, preparation and follow up of families for genetic assessment; and liaison with other related fields and professionals as a member of the genetics team. NOTE: The degree of independence and level of complexity will increase proportionately with the incumbent’s increased demonstrated proficiency.
