Responsibilities
- Own major areas of the product, end to end, across React and PHP
- Make architectural decisions that affect performance, maintainability, and user experience
- Lead code review and contribute to technical direction
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the live production system
- Mentor more junior engineers and help raise the team’s overall bar
Qualifications
- Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
- Experience with performance and core web vitals
- Experience with at least one server-side language (PHP preferred) and willingness to work across the stack
- Comfort with database design and SQL
- Track record of shipping production software to real users and supporting it over time
