Forklift operator

AWX are currently seeking reliable forklift drivers/labourers for a meat processing facility located at Heathwood .
These roles are casual ongoing with opportunity for future permanency for the right candidates.

In order to be successful for this role, you must possess the following:

• A valid Australian LF forklift licence
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience working within a cold room/freezer environment
• Ability to do general warehousing tasks including manual handling of product
• Availability for early morning starts
• Availability to work a rotating roster including every second weekend
• A great attitude towards work, reliability and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Sound knowledge of handling food products appropriately & within strict hygiene standard
