Forklift Truck Driver / Yard Operative – MANUAL HANDLING INVOLVED & OPTIONAL OVERTIME

Salary: Up to £28,000 plus overtime.

Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (40 hours per week).

Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays.

Our client is seeking a reliable Forklift Truck Driver / Yard Operative to join their dynamic operations team. This role involves supporting daily yard operations, preparing equipment for dispatch, and safely loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift. Manual handling and heavy lifting are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily toolbox talks at 7:30 am
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard environment
• Select equipment accurately using load lists
• Load and unload vehicles using counterbalance forklifts and telehandlers in a safe manner
