About the Role
Costco Ardeer- Melbourne Full Time Position - 38hrs per week Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 4am or finishing as late as 12am.
Description of position:
Daily Description:
- Completes daily forklift safety checklist. Hooks batteries up to battery charger.
- Assists with creating drop list of merchandise for placement in cooler. Communicates with meat managers to set priorities and determine merchandise placement.
- Moves pallets of merchandise using eiectric forklift and electric pallet jack, Uses/acts as spotter to alert forklift driver if something is falling and to keep people out of the fall-danger zone.
- Wraps pallets in plastic wrap and attaches a merchandise tag. Removes empty pallets from the cooler/freezer floor. Rotates stock as necessary.
- Ensures that all pallets being placed in steel meet Costco Standards.
