Summary You will serve as a FIREFIGHTER (PARAMEDIC) in the FIRE PROTECTION BRANCH, OPERATIONS SECTION of MCLB ALBANY GA. Responsibilities You will calculate a patient medication dose according to external factors (e.g., potential interaction with other medications, concentration of drugs, patient weight, method of delivery). You will administer medications and solutions via different methods (e.g., oral, intravenous, rectal, intramuscular, sublingual, endotracheal under the direction of protocols or a physician) to treat patients. You will assess a patient systematically to identify the nature, extent, and seriousness of the patient's condition. You will develop a strategy for approaching a hazardous release site. You will use mobile or portable radio equipment to communicate with an emergency communications center or hospital emergency room to relay patient's medical condition.
