Financial Analyst

Role

The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile finance related transactions with strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support during night shift corresponding to US EST working hours and be part of the Finance team supporting Surety and Marine business units.

Qualifications

• Assist in daily operations of the quarterly financial close process as well as Management and Corporate Reporting.
• Prepare assigned monthly and quarterly journal entries as required.
• Prepare quarterly reconciliations of sub‑ledgers to general ledger.
• Prepare Reinsurance Statements monthly.
• Assist in running reports related to the monthly/quarterly close.
