Field Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES Functions as a computer hardware technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices. Provides hands-on technical support to ensure systems are operating efficiently and end users are fully supported. Diagnoses hardware and basic software issues, replaces components, and performs system upgrades as needed. Installs and configures operating systems, drivers, and standard business applications. Supports onboarding and offboarding activities including device setup, imaging, and user configuration. Maintains accurate inventory of hardware assets and ensures proper documentation of repairs and service requests. Collaborates with IT team members to escalate complex issues and support overall infrastructure reliability. Provides timely and professional customer service to internal users.
