Failure Analysis (FA) Technician 1st Shift

Location: Durham, NC

Schedule:

• Shift/Schedule: 1st shift M-F 7:30 am - 4pm)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots, debugs, and determines root cause at multiple system levels for customer devices and analyzes circuits and topologies to identify marginal failure root causes.

Repairs for failing devices.

Troubleshoot and repair failures; diagnose the root cause and recommend corrective action.

Monitor ORT (on-going reliability tests) /RDT (reliability demonstration tests) and report issues.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work directly with design and manufacturing teams to investigate hardware issues down to the component level.

Document procedure, follow SOPs.

Assists with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs.
