Fabric Purchaser

• Dealing with fabric sourcing - sourcing of Fancy, Cotton, Lawn and Silk Fabrics etc.) from suppliers
• Placing of production orders; negotiating prices, deliveries and terms, following the Purchasing Procedures
• Handling quality related issues, fabric to be reprocessed and rejected fabrics
• Fabric costing & inventory management

Qualification

Graduate / Masters

Required Skills

• Problem Solving & Time Management Skills
• Interpersonal & Communication skills.
• Computer/MS Office proficiency. (This may be tested)

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years’ fabric sourcing experience (preferably with reputed Apparel brands)
