In this role, you will report to the Purchasing Supervisor and play a crucial role in enhancing the procurement strategies for machining and casting. Your responsibilities will include negotiating supplier contracts, evaluating service quality, and tracking commodity prices to ensure competitiveness and value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate contracts and resolve supplier disputes
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality and costs
• Track commodity prices in line with global market changes
• Maintain reports and databases for commodity tracking
• Manage the supply base to ensure optimal procurement metrics
