A steelwork contractor in Leicestershire is currently looking for an Estimator to join their Housebuilders division on a permanent basis. Start Date: ASAP Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Duties: Reading technical tender and architectural drawings. Extracting and pricing materials for fabrication packages. Producing competitive bids and comprehensive tender submissions. Estimating labour, materials, plant, and site operation costs. Generating quotation documents and issuing to clients. Liaising with existing and new clients to identify business opportunities. Negotiating and converting tenders into sales. Supporting handover meetings with the Contracts team upon tender award. Maintaining strong commercial awareness and market pricing knowledge. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Estimator role.
