EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

As a Test Technician, performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as the need arises.
• May perform equipment modifications as advised by engineers.

• Possess a NITEC/ Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering or other similar fields.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in working in a multifaceted environment.
• Possess high level of motivation, is well-adapted and goal-oriented.
