About the Role
Surespan Ready Mix is hiring an Entry-Level General Labourer to assist in essential yard operations. This position offers hands-on training and experience in a collaborative environment.
Working under the Yard Foreman, you will engage in various duties like maintenance, concrete pouring, and assisting with inventory counts. Although a Class 3 license is a bonus, it is not required as training will be provided. Ideal candidates should exhibit strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in dynamic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out maintenance and cleaning in the yard
• Help concrete drivers with returns and maintenance
• Participate in concrete pouring and finishing tasks
• Manage month-end inventory counts
• Train to operate machinery like Ready Mix Trucks
